The group is met at the Old Town by our English-speaking guide and taken around the historic centre visiting 3-5 venues. The venues are music bars, pubs, beer restaurants, some are favoured by locals, some are catering for ex-pat public. The first place normally is a venue offering some food, followed by pubs/music bars/lounges.

The guide will have a list of venues to visit in mind depending on season and on what's hot, but the group's input is welcome. All prefer different styles, and if the place is not to group's taste the guide should be notified right away and the group will be taken to alternative venue.

There are no restrictions on a bar crawl, and fancy dress is perfectly OK, but the smarter group is dressed and the better group is behaved, the better and up scale bars they will be taken to and the better night life they will see. There is nothing strict of fancy in terms of getting into good bars, just common sense fair approach. Heavily drunk and rowdy groups will get into somewhat lesser venues which do not bother much about the face control.

The night-life in Riga really picks up closer to late hours, so advised time to start the Bar Crawl is from 20:00 onwards. The best days for Bar Crawl are Fridays and Saturdays, with Thursdays and Sundays not as lively.
